Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

Overview : A leading food manufacturing company, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for our 2nd shift operations in Oak Creek, WI.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical maintenance, along with the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment efficiently.

Join our team and contribute to the production of high-quality food products while ensuring the smooth operation of our facility.

Salary : $70,000 - $82,000 per year Responsibilities :

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on production equipment, including but not limited to motors, conveyors, packaging machines, and HVAC systems.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime and ensure continuous production.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance inspections according to schedule to identify and address potential problems before they escalate.
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and perform necessary repairs to restore functionality.
  • Collaborate with production and quality control teams to maintain equipment performance standards and ensure product quality.
  • Document maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and parts usage, using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery as needed.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and stay updated on industry best practices.
